LEAVING THE OPTICAL AXIS THROUGH THE MODEL

Room Installation, Mixed Media // 2017
3.OG Elevator Stairway, Academy of Visual Arts, Leipzig
09.02 -12.02.2017

Ever since we began to look at the world under the electron microscope, it falls apart into even smaller pieces, atoms and elementary particles. However, the actual discovery of the smallest particles, the primordial substance, does not materialize. Thus, the pixel claims to be the materia prima of a mediated, optoelectronic world and we believe it, knowing that we are dreaming.
